Ehcp has been involved in the area of socio-economic development throughout its stages of growth. Some of the areas that the Company will continue to invest in include health promotion, job creation and the elimination or eradication of poverty, and community safety. In the area of socio-economic development Ehcp will partner with local governments and around the mining communities and support in line with the Integrated Development Plans (IDP’s) in line with the SDGs charter. The Company will also partner with other stakeholders including non-governmental organizations including relevant South African organizations such as, Chamber of Mines, Business Unity South Africa, National Business Initiative, Business trusts.
Ehcp also recognises the importance of partnership with all spheres of government including the local government, as mentioned above, provincial government as well as national government.
